How to open Keynote files that exist in Dropbox?

Hey, we have a bunch of keynote presentation store on dropbox now whether online or on the ios app on my ipad i can’t do any editing and it only open it into view mode i think with powerpoint, how can i get it to open in keynote and be editable?

    Hi ToxicNorse, let's jump right into this! 

     

    Can you clarify the file type of these files? Is it safe to assume that you're referring to package files

     

    If so, keep in mind that the Dropbox mobile app doesn't support direct editing of Pages, Numbers and Keynote files via the app itself at this time.

     

    As these files are package files, generally they can't be edited directly by the mobile app, and need to be accessed by either exporting the file to the other app, or opened in that app using the iOS Files interface.

    Ok, if I understand what you’re saying is that I must open it from within keynote.

    Hi ToxicNorse, that's correct, currently, Dropbox doesn't support the editing of Keynote files directly via the mobile app.
