3 years agoHi Maryie, to help isolate this issue, could you please try quitting the Dropbox app, and let me know if the issue persists?
Click the Dropbox icon in your menu bar, then click on your profile picture or initials to the right of the search bar and select "Quit Dropbox".

Hi Megan,
Ok so I've just tried that, quit the app, tried editing after that and before relaunching and once after relaunching. It's still the same 😞

Hi Maryie, thanks for letting me know!
Since the issue persists when Dropbox is completely closed, this suggests that the cause is related to something outside of the Dropbox application.
You might need to check closely the permissions of these files, and make sure they're not read-only.
