I changed the letters of my drives and now I get an error when deleting them from Dropbox Backup.
Hi All!
I am new to the DropBox forum.....
I have changed the drive letters to two of my drives that were monitored by DB.
And now I can not delete those drives from my DB-backup schedule.

What happens when you attempt to disable the other folders from the backup when you manage the backup directly?

Hi Nancy
Thanks for getting back to me so fast!
I can make some screenshots, but now I cant find the place where I was deleting my external drives. I think it came up automatically when I connected my external drives, and asking me if I want DropBox to monitor a folder there. So I have created a folder and told DB to monitor that one folder, I have named DropBox-Backup-Folder. But then later I have noticed that DB was monitoring the whole drive, not just the empty folder I have created and selected, for future use, when I was going to put some important files there. The whole drive is too big for DropBox. One is 1-TB the other is 2-TB. So that is why I wanted to delete the drives and just select one folder later. And that is when DB was having problem deleting those drives. And it could be because I have changed around some drive letters on my computer, because this is a fresh install of Windows-11 from 2 days ago, and I am still organizing everything. Later I will not be changing drive letters.
But for now, how do I get back to the backup-selection window? Because it does not come up automatically anymore, when I connect an external drive. I have been looking all over DropBox for 20 minutes and I cant find it. Thanks. AdibA

Hi AdibA-303, are you able to access your backups from this page and manage them from there?
Could you also try accessing the backups from the preferences in the Dropbox desktop application?

Hi Jay, thanks for the suggestions. Yes I was able to delete those drives.
However something is wrong with the DB software, because I have chosen only one empty folder to be backed up, on those drives, for future use. But in both cases the whole drive was backed up. One of them consisting of 4.5 GB data. I did not ask for this. Thanks again AdibA.....
