I tried to cancel a trial, but deleted my account instead. Can I recover the content?
HELPPPP😩
I was looking to see if anyone could offer any help.
I was trying to delete a trial period and managed to delete the full dropbox account. This has years of files... i cant contact dropbox to recover any of these documents.
Can anyone help??

Hi TS 2024, let's jump right into this!
As a first step, do you have access to the email address linked to your old Dropbox account?
If you do, would you mind checking to see if you've received an email informing you about the deletion of the account?
However, if the account has indeed been deleted, then I'm afraid there's no way for us to recover the content.

Hi Megan
Thank you for getting back to me.
We have the log in details but i cant log in as it is saying account is deleted. I will check my emails but i don't think i received one.
We had a free trial and only wanted to delete that section and ended up deleting whole account. Im sure this is a business account if that makes a difference,. ( the account was only deleted yesterday.

Hey TS 2024, I would suggest reaching out to our support team directly, as they'll be able to see info specific to the account and assist you further.
To do so:
- Open a private browsing/incognito window and go to this page.
- Select your issue type and fill out the rest of the form.
- Click "submit".
Let us know once you have your ticket number.
