Is there a way to have Dropbox deleted files go to Mac Trash?

I'm running Dropbox v193.4.5594 on an iMac-M3 on macOS Sonoma 14.3.1 I'm under the impression that when I deleted a file in Dropbox it would go to my Trash folder... but now when I delete a file Dr...

    Drat, I knew I should have done a screen print of the message box that said the file would be gone and not recoverable... I think we scared it into working again as now it deletes normally and appears in my trash... I'll reopen this if/when it happens again... sigh.

Are you sure that the message wasn't related to this prompt?

    Yes, I'm quite sure it was different... I always get that prompt with a new install and turn it off as I do like deletions to be removed from all, BUT remain in the trash.
