Logic Pro project files disappeared from my Mac and the web
I'm not sure when this issue started but I have a new Macbook and all my files are stored on DROPBOX via desktop app. A few days ago I noticed that the LOGIC PRO PROJECT files were missing in the majority of their respected folders. Obviously, i didn't delete these. When I open the folder only the AUDIO FILES, BOUNCES, and FREEZE FILES folders are visible. This is BOTH in my FINDER AND ON THE WEB/ONLINE VERSION. I have no idea what happened. I know it isn't because of the new mac change because I checked the files when i connected the new mac and all was well. This has just randomly happened.
I've seen a few threads on here but none seem to have the issue where the Project file is not showing up on the web version of Dropbox as well as the desktop app. I am at my wits end and I have many clients data in danger as well as my own!!!
What I don't understand is WHY THE PROJECT FILES ONLY???
SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!!!!!

Hi there Zion2 - thanks for bringing this to our attention.
Could you please let us know your computer's OS version, and the status and version of the Dropbox desktop app as shown in your menu bar?
What can you find about those files in your events page?
Also, are you saving your project files as folders or packages perhaps?
Let us know more and we'll take it from there.

Hi Walter, I'm on Sonoma 14.5.
DROPBOX 204.4.5420
Up to Date
I save all my projects as folders and not packages
The Events page has alot of data but NOTHING relating to the missing project files as I can see. There doen't appear to be a way to narrow down the Events to just those relating specific files.
We are talking about 100+ files just disappearing

Thanks for the additional details Zion2
Do those missing files show up in your deleted files page or locally in your computer's trash can?

Hi Walter.
I've checked extensively and i cannot see those specific files in the Trash or in the deleted page within Dropbox. There are numerous deleted files that are titled things such as Z.pluginData and Z.songData but nothing more specific. The last session I had was on the 16th July and everything was fine before then.

Thanks for the screenshots Zion2 - much appreciated.
Could you please check if anything shows up in Finder outside of your Dropbox folder when it comes to the missing files?
Have you tried getting in touch with our support team directly for further assistance on this?

This seems like a strange question. OF COURSE I HAVE CHECKED FINDER!
I only wish to speak to support staff. Could you please tell me how I can do that aside from paying you guys more money to "upgrade" my subscription?

Thanks for clarifying that for me Zion2
I took a look in our system and I can see that you have an open ticket with our support team about this issue, so I'd suggest getting back to them with any additional information or questions you may have about this as they'd be better equipped to help further with account and device specific information.
