Missing changes to a document / Maybe unsaved

Hi -- I was working on a microsoft word doc that was saving in my Dropbox desktop app and I think I may have quite Word without saving the document.  When I went back to the document (ie opened it ag...

Version History is a feature on Dropbox, IF you had been saving periodically. It can't sync different versions as you're working on a file if you're using the Office desktop applications, unless you save periodically so the Dropbox desktop application can see and sync the changes.

 

Otherwise, it can only do it live as you're working if you're editing the file in Word for the Web through the Dropbox website (similar to editing in Google Drive).
