Missing shared folder

I am sure this is the wrong area, but there wasn't an option for folder missing suddenly.  I have checked if they were deleted and they were not, they are gone off the website and my computer. Somewh...

So if they dont show on Events they then it can only be one of the following:

  • A shared folder that has been left/had access removed from it
  • Been permanently deleted 
  • Never existed on Dropbox in the first place. 

It can only be one of those three things as it isnt possible to clear events otherwise.

    I found out that the person I shared it with removed the share.

    I hope this does not mean that he permanently deleted the files, otherwise I'm **bleep**ed.
