Hi Can somebody please help me as all my Albums not files have disappeared. I have hundreds of pictures stored in these albums and need them back? Look for to hearing back from people

Hey Martyn, sorry to jump in here, but I just want to clarify that we have recently made a change to the Dropbox Android mobile application that has removed the "Albums" from the Photos tab. This change didn’t remove photos or videos you’ve uploaded to the app.
You can still find your uploaded photos and videos in the Photos tab or at dropbox.com/photos
For this and more common fixes for the Android app, you can check out this Help Center article.
I hope this helps!

Hi
It's very frustrating and disappointing that there was no warning from Dropbox. Not sure you can retrieve them now...they say the pics are still stored but you would have to scroll all the way back through them....thats years of pics for my as had the stored room 2014!
So angry with dropbox

I also just discovered that the Albums feature is gone. What was the justification for removing them? As others have noted here we spent HOURS AND HOURS organizing photos using Albums. When Dropbox announced this feature all of the tech sites highlighted what an amazing feature it was. So for it to silently disappear without giving us the option to export them or "migrate" them to a different structure is really negligent. Does anyone at Dropbox have a suggestion on how to recover or migrate the old Albums to the new folder structure or are the Albums gone forever?

- Kd154 years agoExplorer | Level 4Same for me. Not happy. When I told Dropbox that I was finding their site difficult to navigate since latest upgrade, I thought the problem was with me. Dropbox, you should have been honest and frank. I have spent alot of time trying to relocate all my albums which clearly now no longer exist!!
- Lels4 years agoHelpful | Level 6So apparently Dropbox does not read or manage this site because there has not been any help whatsoever. They were quick to "award" a ribbon, woo hoo, but not willing to help support.
- Piggy754 years agoHelpful | Level 6They are too embarrassed to comment .The lack of notification about removing the albums is my problem with them..plus the 10yrs worth of photograph memories
- Lels4 years agoHelpful | Level 6I wish I could ignore my customers like they are. I have never worked with any businesses that do not provide an avenue to directly communicate and receive help. Is Dropbox even monitoring or reading these posts? No other way to get help or answers is ridiculous!

Agreed. If I'd had some notification that my album was going to go away, I'd have taken a moment to take those 14 photos (out of 27,000 or so from the past 14 years) and make them available elsewhere. Now, I have no freaking clue where they are. I lost them just like I lost my keys. Sure, there's still SOMEWHERE in my house, but unless they're on the shelf where they belong they might as well just be utterly gone.
I spent 45 minutes first trying to figure out where the feature went and then another hour scrolling through thousands of photos and I've found 5 of the 14 so far. Not just the fact that a useful feature is now dead, but just the shear waste of my time this has created. By a product I *pay for*.
