    The reason why I'm asking this is because I'm helping friend with her phone. The storage is full on the phone and I'm afraid if I delete the pictures on the phone it will delete also the pictures she already uploaded to Dropbox.
    I'm trying to understand how Dropbox is thinking this backup prodeture.

    Thanks for the additional context, and with that, I would like to confirm that once the photos have been uploaded to the Dropbox account, deleting them from the phone won't  affect the content in Dropbox.
