Have you tried another browser?
Cleared local cache/cookies etc.? I've not seen anything on here which would hint at a Dropbox wide issue.

Jane thank you so much for reading this! It does persist across all browsers. Tried safari, firefox and chrome. I can sit here for a whole minute just to delete 80 files where as before it was instant.
there has not been any delays in any other sites. Everything working perfectly.

Hi Jane,
I have the same isssue. We use dropbox to upload image files from our CCTV system, it used to take only minutes to delete a thousand or si files, now over past couple of months, when I haven't kept up to date with weekly deletions, its failing to delete and is taking me hours to clean them out... 4 camera folders and sometimes up to 4000 files per camera.
I don't have any option other than dropbox for the image upload storage in our CCTV setup.
Any advice appreciated.
Thanks
Steve

unfortunately they wiped their hands of it and provided no follow up
- Blanquette7 years agoExplorer | Level 4Backing up takes much longer too. It makes it more difficult to switch to another cloud storage. Probably a deliberate move to tie you into a Dropbox subscription forever.
