Stop forcing users to have a 'family space' folder

If i needed a family space folder, I would create one. Why would you compel me to have a folder like that which can't be edited or moved to another space? I appreciate my dashboard showing only the things I need, its annoying to have a useless folder which I can't delete. It's giving Microsoft vives.
