The Badge shows a file was edited 420 years ago
Is anyone else having issues with Badge, randomly showing "<user> last edited this file 420 years ago".
it seems to affect both mac and windows users and appears to be random- in that we can't ...

I know this issue sucks big time, and I hate being the bearer of bad news...but

The timing and exact functionality of these features may change, and Dropbox doesn't provide warranties on the performance of these features.

421 years ago now. This is getting old, and it's a really dumb problem for such a pervasive software provider to have. Could you maybe prioritize this for a fix?

4 years agoHey owladmin, sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Would it be OK if we reach out to investigate further with device and account specific information?

Yes, please contact us immediately with a fix. I honestly cant believe that with all the money we give you every single month that we still cant see when the file was last edited.

Hi Tee Dub, sorry to hear you're still having issues with this.
I just sent you an email to have a better look internally, so please have a glance at your inbox and we'll take it from there.
Thanks!

So I am guessing there is still no acknowledgement from Dropbox about this issue or a fix??
and they are ramping up the per seat fee for the licences.
seriously @Dropbox ?
- owladmin4 years agoHelpful | Level 6I believe you have my account information, we're all using Windows computers and the latest Dropbox versions. Nobody's changing edit dates to 1601. The file save dates are accurate and fine, it's the badge and the edited dates that populate in Dropbox, not Windows.
