Can't access shared link. Getting an error that the link has been deleted.

This message indicates a couple of things. Either that the owner of the shared link has deleted, moved, or deactivated the link. Or this may also occur if the link was temporarily disabled due to excessive traffic or if the account is inactive. You can read more about this here.
When the owner of a Dropbox link deletes or disables it, the shared link will stop working. Are you certain that the person that originally sent you the shared link hasn't been added to the folder directly?
To regain access, you can ask the owner to reactivate or create a new shared link for you.
Have you tried reaching out to your client again and asking them to ask the person that sent them the link to create a new one and share it with you?
