Can't access account under deleted email
Hi,
I had made a dropbox account in 2015 or 2016 under a now deleted email address that I no longer have access to. I can sign into the account, but cannot get past as it asks for a password reset, or sign-in code.. something of the sort. The point is, whatever it sends to the email, it is deleted and I cannot retrieve what is necessary to sign-in.
This account might be the last place on earth to house invaluable pieces of my teenage years that I would like to retrieve. Is it at all possible to regain access given my situation?
Thanks for reading,
Trent C
Hi wubblo, as it sounds like you've already tried the steps provided by the support team to verify the account, but weren't able to do so successfully, then there wouldn't be any other methods to access the account, unfortunately.
We're sorry we can't be more helpful on this matter.

Hi there wubbloâ,
If you no longer have access to the email address linked to your Dropbox account, visit this support form while signed out of any Dropbox accounts: https://www.dropbox.com/support/sign-in-issues
Use an email you currently can access so we can reach you.
Please note: if you canât access the linked email and donât have any device logged in, we may not be able to restore access.

That's a shame. The email is long since deleted, but I can still sign into the dropbox account... I'm just not able to actually get true access since it says "please change your password, we expired your password as a security precaution"...
I am not signed into any devices. I tried going through one of the automated services you guys have where you guess what the name of a folder is on the account, as well as my name and city last signed in from, but to no avail. Is there really nothing else that can be done? Like I said, I can sign in; I have the email and the password, and I can prove I am the owner, it's just that I can't access the long deleted email the account is assigned to..
Thanks,
Trent C

Just to add to this, how long ago did you last log in? If it was over 12 months the data on it would have been wiped already I'm afraid due to inactivity.
