Can't access account under deleted email
Hi, I had made a dropbox account in 2015 or 2016 under a now deleted email address that I no longer have access to. I can sign into the account, but cannot get past as it asks for a password reset,...

That's a shame. The email is long since deleted, but I can still sign into the dropbox account... I'm just not able to actually get true access since it says "please change your password, we expired your password as a security precaution"...
I am not signed into any devices. I tried going through one of the automated services you guys have where you guess what the name of a folder is on the account, as well as my name and city last signed in from, but to no avail. Is there really nothing else that can be done? Like I said, I can sign in; I have the email and the password, and I can prove I am the owner, it's just that I can't access the long deleted email the account is assigned to..
Thanks,
Trent C

1 month agoHi wubblo, as it sounds like you've already tried the steps provided by the support team to verify the account, but weren't able to do so successfully, then there wouldn't be any other methods to access the account, unfortunately.
We're sorry we can't be more helpful on this matter.
