Dropbox is slow to upload only when using one computer. Tried website and desktop app.
Tried resetting the desktop app completely.
Tried the web version. Seems to say 2 hours for a 70mb file. Tried an alternative, one minute to upload
Tried on another computer on the same network, runs fine. One minute to upload in the browser
What is it on this certain computer causing this?
How can this be fixed?

Hey itsTYT let's jump right into this!
When you say that you tried an alternative, are you talking about a separate device or a different browser?
If you haven't tried another browser please give it a go, and feel free to also clear your browser's cache.
As for the desktop app: when you add the file inside your Dropbox folder, and then check the app's syncing status what does it report?
Keep me posted, and we'll take it from there!

Alternative meaning g drive or frame.io, all upload the same exact file in a minute
We tried a fresh install of Chrome beta, no extensions nothing in it, we also tried an incognito window, as well as safari, apart from the main chrome we usually use
It's syncing, but very slowly, the same speed as the browser, 2 hours for a 70mb file.

Thanks for the update, itsTYT.
If you haven't restarted the particular computer already, please do so.
Also, is it running any security programs like an antivirus, VPN, firewall etc. that could be interfering with the Dropbox platforms?
Regarding the desktop app, can you check the bandwidth it uses, to see if it's perhaps limited?

Computer has been restarted, it is running MacOS Ventura, a Ventura update was also done.
No VPN, firewall, anti-virus, etc.
Bandwidth management is "off"

Thanks for the update, itsTYT.
It is strange that two computers on the same network are exhibiting such different behaviors.
What are the differences between these two devices? Different OS version? Anything else that might stand out to you?
Also, is it possible to connect the computer in issue to a different network, to test if the issue persists?
