Dropbox upload sync is very slow
Hi, I've been using Dropbox business for years now with my current company and my previous two jobs. I'm trying to archive all my old footage and while I have 1000mbps up and down, my upload on dropbox is about 12mbps. I'm trying to upload dozens of terabytes and this is going to delay things significantly. Help!

Hi thiagodiasssss, do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?
Have you tried contacting the support team directly?

I too have noticed the past several weeks that syncing up to Dropbox and attempting to use Transfer have been slow. We're on a 1gig fiber connection and Transfer today seemed to be averaging 24Mbps. Then this afternoon it wasn't uploading at all.

Hi OfficeInCT, thanks for posting this here.
Are you only having speed issues while using Dropbox Transfer or with other functions, as well? For example, if you try to upload something via the desktop app, is syncing there slow, too?
Have you tried using another WiFi network and the issue persists?

Excuse me for saying this, but the dropbox server sucks. I am extremely disappointed with the support. The attendant "Tony" refused to do an inspection on my desktop via Team Viewer, a service that has already been provided by dropbox support for a friend of mine.

Same old story again, now my uploads to DropBox are uploading at 100Kbps. Honestly this service is a joke but the difference between Google Drive and Dropbox upload speeds is astronomical. Head office still uses a corporate Dropbox account but I don't bother with it these days because of the ridiculously slow speeds.

I have good wifi. I'm uploading digital negative photo files from Lightroom about 50mb in size, to Dropbox. It is really, really slow. Like 1 file every half hour!! Please help

Sorry to hear about this, _Urbanik_.
You're uploading your files, using the desktop app, right?
Have you checked to see whether the bandwidth used by the Dropbox app is limited?

Hi Hanna,
Thanks for your reply. Yes, I'm using the desktop app. I've unlimited the
upload speed as you suggested, and have restarted the computer.
It is still deathly slow. I have 136 dng files waiting to sync, its almost doing nothing.

Hi _Urbanik_, can you clarify the app's current version, along with the syncing status at the moment?
