Im also having this exact issue. Getting very slow upload speeds via the Desktop app (windows7). It seems to cap the upload speed to around 250Kb/s which is super slow!!! I have 20Mbps upload speed on my internet connection.
However if I use browser to upload, it is getting good speeds.
I have tried all different combininations of bandwith settings to no avail. Please help. Can i revert back to an old dropbox version?

OMG! I have the same issue for weeks. My desktop app is very slow. I tried all the solutions from the internet and nothing works!!! My laptop uploads at full speed. But on my desktop, it's totally useless! I already reinstalled the app a couple of times and they are both using the same connection. What is wrong? This is very stressful.
Laptop: Core i5 8300, 16gb ram, SSD = very fast
Desktop: Ryzen 3900x, 32gb ram, SSD = slow and useless speedInternet: 500mbps fiber

Hi, I'm really struggling with slow upload speeds that have happened all of a sudden. It is exactly like what people in this thread have been describing. Did anyone ever find a resolution to the problem with this? I've been contacting Dropbox for over 3 weeks now regarding this and all I get back is the same 'bot type' response describing the process that happens when files are uploaded.
Any help would be much appreciated!- Jay3 years ago

Hi John P.115, do you have any proxy, VPN, firewall, security software, or even ISP/router settings that could be restricting traffic to the following Dropbox domains?
