Error 404 file request links
I seem to be experiencing a Error 404 on all file request url links under my business account, I have switched to my personal account and created a new test folder and am encountering the same issue also when making a new link. I've double checked all usual listed causes of this. Is there something I could be missing or is this a wider issue at the moment (has only occurred in the last 45 minutes or so). I've used the platform for a while without issue so I'm 90% sure it's not user error!
Thanks very much
KE

Hey thepuuung, thanks for posting to our Community.
Since your shared link is giving a 404 error, could it be that your shared links have been banned?
Can you check your emails, to see if there's any Dropbox-related messages about this there?
Keep me posted!

Hi all!
Recently I've created and shared a file that seems to have generated issues among all my other Paper files on Dropbox and now cannot access any of them- I keep encountering a page with a 404 error.
Interesting fact is that if I right click the file before opening it I can export it (like as a .pdf) and can access that version but not the original Paper file (ending with .paper).
Please help as I'd need to access this information as soon as possible. Thanks! - Megan2 years ago

Thank you Megan! I've received an email from Dropbox asking me if it was me accessing from a certain location. I confirmed it was me but still cannot access my files.

Megan, one more thing to be clear: all of my files are not accessible and I've confirmed by email I received from Dropbox that the person accessing to my dropbox account was me. what else could I do to try to gain back access to all my files?

Hi Megan. Nothing really changed even after confirmation it was me accessing from a certain browser from a certain location, which is the only email I got from Dropbox. How can I try to get back access to my files?

I need to make decisions with other people starting from one file I have, so the sooner I can get back access, the better! I'm out of access from about 3 hours now…
