Error when opening Dropbox shared links
I'm suddenly having issues following links to shared dropbox files, even ones that I created myself. My team uses basecamp for project management and we store links to shared documents there. I have signed out of both dropbox and basecamp and re-tried the links. I'll see the document for a second and then I get the following error.
I have logged out of both programs, rebooted and logged back in. No one else on my team is having issues.

Thanks for bringing this to our attention, cb140.
Do you see the same error, if you open a link from a different browser or an incognito window?
Let me know and we'll go from there.

Chrome is my default browser. I just pasted the dropbox link into Edge and received the same error.

Also - I cleared my browser cache as well. I do utilize a VPN but that isn't something new.

Yes, It happens in Edge as well. I cleared my Chrome cache and the problem persisted.

Would you mind turning your VPN off, to see if that makes any difference?
Just so we cover that as well.

Still happening.

I turned off my Bitdefender tracking protection and was able to open the link in edge.

I don't recall changing any settings but it seems that the anti-tracker feature is what was causing the problem. Will I have to keep this off to utilize dropbox links?

Hi cb140, I use BitDefender on my machine and don't experience any issues with shared links. It might just be a setting in the app that could be affecting this.
