    Thanks Rich.  Good to know.  This may be the problem. When I rename the folder, it now works? Don't exactly see the logic but anyway it somehow works now. Thank you for your help.

    What was the original name of the folder? It was likely using a character that's considered illegal on your operating system, so Dropbox wasn't able to create it locally.

    Hello Simon

    Im experiancing the same problem. Did you find a resolution?

    Ive checked, there are no illegal caracters in the file name.

    Any help will be much apprecaited

    Worked for me, as soon as I removed dots from the troubled folder name, DropBox displayed the folder in my Explorer and synched all files. Back in business - Thank you!
