Folder shared with two users, syncs locally for one but not the other
I have an HR Team folder that has access limited to a "HR group". Within the HR folder there is a "Payroll" folder that I share with two different payroll processors in the company. For one of the processors, the folder syncs fine. The folder appears in Dropbox with the appropriate folder path ..\HR\Payroll\ . For the other processor, I select the folder to sync but nothing. I have unselected, applied, reselected. No luck. I have removed the user from the share and re-added them. No change. Several machine restarts during all of this. The user is running a current version of the DB app 186.x . There shouldn't be any file sync problems because the HR group and the first processor sync without problems. What could be causing the issue with only one user?
Hi there cmiarshvac - sorry to hear about your syncing issue.
As there was a new version of the desktop app just yesterday, could you update the affected device to the latest version from this page and let us know if the issue persists?
If it does, can you double check that it does't contain an incompatible character?

Just verified that the users with the desktop sync problem can navigate to the folder on Dropbox Mobile if that helps.

Uninstalling the old Dropbox app then installing the new version fixed the issue.
