Folders that end with a . (dot) are not appearing locally on PCs for our team, but are for macs

This isn't a Dropbox issue, but a limitation of Windows. Folders ending with a period cannot be created on Windows, so Dropbox is unable to sync them to a Windows comptuer. If you try create such a folder manually, Windows will simply remove the dot.
