Folders that end with a . (dot) are not appearing locally on PCs for our team, but are for macs

Our team discovered today that any folders ending in a . (dot), fo example, a folder named "Example Folder." would not appear locally on synced file explorers for our team members usi...
This isn't a Dropbox issue, but a limitation of Windows. Folders ending with a period cannot be created on Windows, so Dropbox is unable to sync them to a Windows comptuer. If you try create such a folder manually, Windows will simply remove the dot.
