foto Library.photoslibrary mac and dropbox

Question

“foto Library.photoslibrary” is in Dropbox. To open the item, you need to move it to a folder on your Mac.

good morning, I have this error from the "photo" application on Mac.

can't find library 😞 it's not even there if I go to the Dropbox folder on my Mac!

I'm worried about losing my library can you help me?

Hi matteorox, thanks for bringing this to our attention.

Is it possible that you're running the new File Provider version of the Dropbox desktop application for Mac OS?&nbsp;
&nbsp;
The Photos library is no longer supported by Apple for it to located in the Dropbox folder, and needs to be moved.
&nbsp;
