Having issue opening my C4D files on a shared server.
Hi there
I suddenly have an issue where I can't open any C4D (Cinema 4d) files from a shared server.
I can open the files fine on the server machine itself and all other file types open fine from...

Fixed it!! During the Dropbox install, tick “Opt out of Dropbox for Windows Update,” sync again, and it’s back to normal.

I'm having exactly the same issue. Same setup, same problem. It seems it happened right after a windows update or dropbox software update. I can open any file through the network, except for the .c4d files.

Hi tom d.31, the information we received from our specialist team is that storing the Dropbox folder on a network drive isn't a configuration we officially support, so we’re unable to troubleshoot the issue you're experiencing.
To resolve this, they recommend moving the Dropbox folder to a local drive.In the meantime, if there's anything else we can assist with, feel free to reply back here.
