How can I get the Mac system folder 'Documents' into the Dropbox folder?

Hi How can I get my original Mac system folder "Documents" into my Dropbox? I only want ONE original "Documents" folder, i.e. the one in Dropbox. Same for "Desktop" I use an iMac, PowerBook and...

When you say that you had those folders in the Dropbox folder 'earlier', could you clarify when this was?

Were you using the Dropbox Backup feature by any chance at that time?
