Good morning, Megan
Two gentlemen, Neal and Jay, wrote with answers. Firstly, I'd like to apologize. I wasn't able to get back into the Dropbox Community to thank them for their help (my password wasn't being accepted). Thank you for your follow-up. The link in your message helped me get back in (nope .. I don't understand why/how my password was allowed to work this time).
My problem was with getting Dropbox to work as a direct save place from WPS Office within the Linux operating system. I had told Neal that both Dropbox and WPS Office are installed on my Linux homepage. He said that was a good start. However, the next time I needed Dropbox the launcher for the program failed to operate. I have not since been able to successfully reinstall Dropbox and have the launcher work again.
As a work-around, for now, I am saving WPS files to a Document file and later uploading them from there into Dropbox; extra steps I'd prefer to eliminate. Do you know how I can get Linux to accept Dropbox again, with a working launcher? ... and then to integrate Dropbox with WPS Office so that I may save a file directly into a folder in Dropbox?
Thank you to you and all the clever humans who volunteer solutions to this site. Cheers to you!

Hi from me too and thanks for the additional information pyxye - much appreciated.
If you tried to reinstall the Dropbox desktop app and it didn't work for you, you can try an advanced reinstall. When it comes to the error the launcher gave you, I'd appreciate a screenshot so that we can have a visual too.
As for having Dropbox as a save place from WPS Office, note that if you should be able to point it to save in your Dropbox folder, once you've (re)installed the Dropbox desktop app and it's back up and running and syncing normally. In regards to connecting Dropbox to WPS Office, you'd need to do it from WPS Office directly so we won't be able to help much with that.
I hope this helps a tad and please let us know how you get on.
