How can I sync the Dropbox folder that's under my Mac Favorites, and not the one under Locations?

I recently upgraded to an iMac M3 desktop & now have 2 DropBox folders. The one I want to sync with is in the Favorites list & also in my User folder; the other is in the Locations list & it seems to be the one that is syncing with DropBox online. How do I get back to 1 version of DropBox that will sync as it did before the new computer?

The Dropbox folder that was in the Favorites list is no longer there but it is in my User folder (as shown in one of the two screenshots previously sent). Since the other Dropbox folder in the Locations list seems to be functioning, can I safely delete the Dropbox folder in my Users folder?

Hi Rellek7, you can delete the Dropbox folder in the Users folder, provided that you're certain there aren't any files in there that you need to keep.

All seems to be working at this time. I must say that I am not pleased with the new version of Dropbox on MacOS Sonoma. I much preferred having access to my entire Dropbox on my desktop. Now I have to go online in my browser to view the entire contents of my Dropbox.

I opted out of the beta version when I first had issues. If I want to opt back in, how do I do that?

Hi again, Rellek7. What’s the current app version you see when hovering over the small Dropbox icon in your menu bar?

Do you perhaps remember the older version that you had?

    190.2.4865

I don't remember the older version.

It looks like you’re still on the alpha version (this is what the XXX.2.XXXX signifies), so you don’t need to take any other actions on your end.
