How to fix "Couldn't sync files" on Mac

I have a new folder and one file in the folder, and Dropbox complains "Couldn't sync files." I clicked on the "Fix" option, but I don't see how to fix the problem. The Sync issues page says "Give Dro...

    Hey there hershel - sorry to hear about this.

    Can you please send us a screenshot of the app's exact status and version as shown in your menu bar?

    Did you install the app with admin privileges in the first place?
