How to Upload Photos using USB 2.0 from Nikon camera to Dropbox?
How to Upload Photos using USB 2.0 from Nikon camera to Dropbox?
Do I need to sync in order to Upload photos?
Hey there CatWoman1 - how are you today?
It sounds like you're referring to our camera uploads feature - am I correct to assume that?
If this is true indeed, you'll need to use our desktop application and enable the automatic upload for this specific device (your Nikon camera) through the app's settings. Read on for more information:
When you plug a camera (or mobile device) into a computer with the Dropbox desktop app installed, you’ll see a prompt asking if you’d like to enable camera uploads for that device. Once you accept, that device will automatically upload your camera roll each time the device is plugged in to that computer.
You can also turn camera uploads on or off with the following steps:
Mac
- Click the Dropbox icon in your menu bar.
- Click your avatar (or profile picture).
- Click Preferences…
- Under Import, check the box next to Enable camera uploads for.
- Choose Photos only or Photos and videos only.
Windows
- Click the Dropbox icon in your system tray.
- Click the gear icon.
- Choose Preferences…
- Under Import, check the box next to Enable camera uploads for.
- Choose Photos only or Photos and videos only.
I hope this information helps and please keep me posted on your progress!
