2 years agoYou can see the version of the Dropbox desktop application using these steps.
Could you also click the Dropbox icon in the menu bar and see the status of the app on the bottom left?

On my laptop, I do have an Icon in the menu bar that says my files are up to date. Mac Book Air running Sonoma 14.7. No preferences under the avatar. Still can't find a dropbox version.
