I've recently signed up with Dropbox Backup and added my external hard drive.
I enabled backup for this drive, and selected 'Backup Now' rather than waiting for it to schedule a backup at 9am tomor...

If you navigate to the sync issues tab from the desktop app's icon, do you see anything listed there?
If not, please let me know and I'll reach out via email to have a further look internally.

Thanks for the additional screenshot and clarifying the app's version too Kalak
I've just sent you an email to investigate, so please have a look at your inbox and we'll take it from there.

Hello, I am having the same issue as this person, also with a Seagate Drive. It has 912GB to backup, and my Dropbox account allows for 2TB. I just upgraded specifically so I can have automatic backup peace of mind but at this point it's not functioning at all.
I am on version 232.4.5926 and followed the steps above to no resolution.
Would it be possible to message me to help resolve this issue too?
Cheers

Hi Eliket! Sorry to hear the same thing is happening to you, as well.
Can you tell me the exact steps youâve tried so far, just so that I can have a clearer image of the situation?
Iâd also appreciate it if you can send me a screenshot of your backupâs progress as it appears at your Backups page here. Please send me an extra screenshot of your desktop appâs syncing status, too.
