Or, another way is to reinstall Dropbox from www.dropbox.com/downloading - badboy12459 years agoHelpful | Level 5
that first link on how to link and unlink only shows how to unlink, and the i installed the dropbox software but only worked the first time i installed it, and know when i click on the dropbox icon on my computer it doesnt' do anyting.

It does show how to relink if you choose the OS.
How do you mean it isnt doing anything? Is it running or not? - badboy12459 years agoHelpful | Level 5
where do i choose the OS and when i say it does't do anyting, i mean when i click on the dropbox icon nothing opens, its like a dead icon, but it is running.

The Operating Systems are listed at the bottom of the help article.
I, however, would suggest doing an advanced reinstall to see if that helps: https://www.dropbox.com/help/desktop-web/advanced-reinstall - PenguinRivo9 years agoHelpful | Level 6
Hello!
It might seems simple, but to relink Dropbox, you just need to login again in application! :D
Mark is giving you the instructions as well on how to reinstall the App if you dont have it anymore.
But it might be still on your Device.
On a Mac check if you have the icon top-right, otherwise click on top on GO > Applications and search there.
On a Windows, click on start and type Dropbox, the App should appear
On the mobile, just find the icon! :)
More details would be great if you need more help!
