I uploaded a folder from OneDrive, but it's not syncing to the rest of my devices.
Hello,
Yesterday I uploaded a folder from my ONEDrive storage on my old pc, but today it is still not viewable/accessible from my mobile/other pc.
What could be the problem?
Thank you!
Best regards,
Henrik
Thanks for your reply, Nancy! It seems my first pc had two versions, reinstalling my newest version helped solve the issue. Thanks for pointing me in the workable direction - have a fantastic day!

Hi hekeha! Thanks for posting on our forum.
Do you mean that the folder was uploaded to Dropbox from OneDrive, and it’s not syncing to the rest of your devices, that also have Dropbox installed?
If that’s not the case, I’m afraid you’ll need to contact Microsoft directly, as we can only provide support on Dropbox here on the Community.
Keep me posted.

Hi Nancy,
Thanks for your reply.
I copied it from my ONEDrive folder to dropbox, and it shows on the pc where I did so. But on my mobile phone and other pc it does not show... and vice versa - a picture I saved to dropbox on my other pc does not show on the other devices... what could be cause of this?
Thank you!

Thanks for clarifying that, Henrik! If you go to your online account here, can you see both your missing folder and the picture that doesn’t sync from your other PC? That will help me isolate the issue a bit more.
I’d also like to know the current syncing status and app version of the Dropbox desktop app on the PC on which you copied the OneDrive folder from. Please also send me a screenshot of the folder you copied from OneDrive, as it appears within your local Dropbox folder.

Dearest Nancy,
Thanks for your help the other day.
I now realize that some documents I had saved to DropBox from the older version of my pc regrettably no longer is to found, even though they were clearly visible online on DropBox before I accepted to go with the newer version of my pc.
Could I ask your advice of how to find these documents in the depths of your archives? I would much appreciate any documents that you might be able to retrieve.
In case you need to know, I think my older pc was named something like lenovo-yoga, these now absent files would be related to that device.
Thank you ever so much in advance!
Warm regards,

HI hekeha, if the files were deleted within your recovery period, you should be able to locate and recover them from the deleted files page.
Additionally, if the files were moved to another location on your account, the events page would contain these details for you.
