I'm getting a "Can't share file" error due to violating Dropbox's Terms of Service.

The error message:
Can’t share file
Error in call to API function /2/sharing/add_file_member: We’ve suspended your sharing activity because of a violation of Dropbox’s Terms of Service and Acceptable Use Policy, and Terms of Service or Services Agreement.
No, I haven't received any email from Dropbox.
I checked my shared links and no issues with any of them. I have also now deleted all the share permissions and tried again, but still broken.

1 year agoAre you creating a normal shared link or folder on your account, or are you using the Dropbox API to create a shared link?

Just trying to share a single file from the normal web interface.
