Hi Buck5271, Mike B.40, since there are two usernames here, this means that you have two separate Dropbox accounts, and have been logging into different accounts.
Please double-check which email you're seeing when logged in on this page, and make sure it's the same email on all your devices.

This is what shows up when I try to share from my phone to Dropbox on my laptop. I haven't connected phone to laptop via a direct cable.

Also, the Dropbox app on my phone. Isn't showing all the content in my Dropbox on my laptop.
Are you sure you're signed in to the same Dropbox account on both your laptop and your phone? When people swap devices it's not uncommon that they sign in with a different account. That would explain why files you upload don't appear on the laptop, and files on the laptop aren't appearing on the phone.
Check the Dropbox application on both the phone and laptop and make sure they're both using the same email address. If they're different, sign out of Dropbox on your phone and sign in with the same email address you see on the laptop.

Well I signed out of Dropbox on phone & laptop. Have both accounts same email & password. Didn't work. Still frustrating. Appreciate the suggestion though.

Hey Buck5271 let me also jump in here!
If you check your account online, are you able to see your files there?
Would you mind clarifying your laptop's OS, along with the app's version and current syncing status please? You should be able to locate the version you're using, by locating your little Dropbox icon, on your taskbar next to your WiFi and hovering your mouse over it.
