Hi Buck5271, Mike B.40, since there are two usernames here, this means that you have two separate Dropbox accounts, and have been logging into different accounts.
Please double-check which email you're seeing when logged in on this page, and make sure it's the same email on all your devices.

9 months agoHi again, Buck5271.
First of all, let's not delete anything just yet, we need to make sure we don't lose any files, but we'll get to the bottom of this.
If you don't see a Dropbox icon in your taskbar/system tray on your computer, it means that the Dropbox application (that syncs your files to your computer) is not running.
Can you simply reinstall the app from here, without uninstalling it first and let us know if the Dropbox icon returns?

I think we may be making progress. I do have the Dropbox Icon now. But still no Sync action or option. Nothing has changed on my phone. Every time I attempt to ADD to Dropbox photos from my phone gallery. I cannot choose a folder other than Camera Uploads. It show the photos are uploaded to Dropbox on my phone app. But will NOT transfer to my laptop Dropbox App. When I tap the Sync Files on my phone. It still sends me to Set Up, the SCAN box, to get the Dropbox App. Which I have done, 2-3 times.
I'm convinced it's all a Sync issue. But when I go to Sync Issues. It says,,, No Sync Issues here. [sigh]

Hi Buck5271, are you certain that you're signed into the same Dropbox account on all devices?
Can you see your phone and laptops on the devices page?

Hi Jay,
No, my S25 Galaxy Phone is not listed as a device along with my two laptops, and I cannot find where I can ADD a device/my S25+ to the Dropbox account.

Finally,,, Finally I think it's all good. I [hope] the Mike B40, is gone. I don't even know how I got or did that. Everything now should be Buck5271. With the Gmail address I uninstalled Dropbox in both laptops & the mobile app & reinstalled. Thank You and everyone that responded.
Whew! Buck
