Invitation to edit a folder

If I have been invited to edit a folder for a business, why does my free account tell me I need to upgrade my personal dropbox account?  Isn't the business already paying for dropbox?

Hey ace5, thanks for reaching out to us.

Apart from what Mark mentioned, if the person who invited you to the folder is not planning to invite you to the team, they can send you a link to the folder instead.

A shared link will give you view-only access to the folder, which will not affect your own space.

And if you need to upload files to their account, they can send you a file request.
