iPhone uploads to dropbox suddenly stopped
I have been using Dropbox to store photos from my iPhone for years. Every so often, I upload them from my phone camera by opening the app, touching the photo icon and the uploads begin. It is set to use wifi, not mobile data, but that is no different. Until October 6th ago. As far as I know, I did not do anything. Why I try, it says 'All Done for Now' and no photos after that date are uploaded.
I am using iOS 14.0.1 on an iPhone 8
Thanks in advance!
Martin

Hi mphcoach, thanks for messaging today!
I'm sorry to hear about this matter. Could you try disabling and re-enabling the camera upload setting on the phone?
Is background uploading enabled on the device? Could you attach a screenshot showing the camera upload settings on the app?
Thanks!

I have tried the first option - it makes no difference. Note, I repeat, I have changed nothing since before it was Ok to after it was OK

Could you try uninstalling the app, rebooting the phone, and reinstall it to see if this helps?
- mphcoach6 years agoExplorer | Level 4Cool. That seems to have fixed it.
Thanks

I am having the exact same problem. The automatic uploading from my iphone stopped on that exact same date. I have an iphone 7 with the latest version of ios. I unistalled, rebooted and reinstalled. No effect. It says all my photos are up to date even though nothing new has been uploaded for almost 1.5 months now. I have done the things in these help articles. What next?

Hey there kitkit; thanks for joining the discussion here and sorry to hear you're having issues with this.
Can you please try turning off camera uploads and then back on using these steps?
Maybe that will do the trick for you.

Thank you, Walter, for taking a look at this topic. I did try that earlier but tried it again just now. Still no change. Argh.

In that case, could you try reinstalling the app as well kitkit?

I have already done that, as mentioned.
