Is it necessary to have to verify identity when accessing a shared folder through a link?

I shared a folder to "anyone with the link".  When someone tries to access it from a new browser (never signed in to Dropbox before) they are always hit with a message to verify identity.

Is there no way around this message so they can just get to the folder?

Attaching screenshot.

Thanks,

Christi

Hey ckoz2015 - thanks for posting on our Community and happy Monday!
I can see that you're linking to a single zip file and not a folder. Can you let me know if this happens with every file or folder you're sharing or just this particular one?

What are the exact steps you take to do this by the way? I just gave it a go on my end and I was able to access the folder I linked to with no problems from an incognito window where I wasn't logged into any Dropbox account, that's why I'm asking.

Let me know more and we'll take it from there.
