Mac OS and shared folders

I've been a Windows user forever.  Just started using a Macbook. On my Windows machine, using Dropbox integration in Windows Explorer, I can see my individual user folder as well as what I will call...

I still cannot get it to work.  I created a team folder that is on the same level as the folder DB created in my name.  It is called "Company"  I can see the folder with my name, but not any of the other folders on the same level.

Hi MSDinFL, could you attach a screenshot showing how it appears in Finder, and also on your browser, while hiding any personal info?
