It has trouble scanning a piece of paper.

    Yeah, I’ve done both. I thought I’d mention the issue for the programmers to magically fix it. 🙂

Hey bruce c.10, I see, thanks for clarifying! 

 

I believe that in your case you'd need to either zoom, or move your camera closer or change the surface. 

 

In any case, I believe that you should have the option to edit the automatically selected area, once you've taken a picture. Can you check?
