My friends got a message to join Dropbox when viewing a shared link
Pro's: Dropbox did exactly what I wanted. Sending a link of a .mpg cloud file slideshow video to a bunch of my friends. They just clicked the link in the email and enjoyed my video.
Con's: Well not exactly. Those without Dropbox account got WEB login page. In a number of places in Dropbox documentation it say "No account necessary". But what is left out is "but we are going to bug you to get a account."
Sorry: I'm not going to be a part of selling Dropbox. I'm looking but not finding a alternative platform.
