My updates on a shared file cannot be seen by the other members

Hello, The administrator is sharing a file with more members, to which all members have access and can modify it, and he shares it with me and tells me that only I have access, so the modifications I make are not seen by others, how can I solve it? Thanks

Welcome to our Community, Antonio30, and sorry to hear about the issue.

How did the admin originally share this file with you? Through a link?

Or did they invite you to a folder with edit permissions?

Also, are you updating the file using the Dropbox folder on your computer?

Let me know and we'll go from there.

    Hello,

It is only a file, without a folder, he shared it with me through email, as a link

When you save it on your computer, the file is updated and synchronized, but only I have access and it appears as the owner. When the owner is the one who shared it with me, the other users can

    thank you

You likely received a view-only shared link, which allows you to view and/or download the file, but not edit it. If you saved the file to your own computer or your own Dropbox account, then it's your own copy of the file and will not sync back to the owner or anyone else.

Either the file needs to be shared with you with Edit access, or it needs to be placed into a folder and that folder shared with you with edit access.

    Hello,

The administrator shares the file with me to edit, and in members of that file my name appears, and "you can edit" but then when I open the file I see only you have access

Hey Antonio30 - sorry to jump in here, but could you send us a screenshot of how the file looks on your end?

Are you sure you're looking at the correct file and location?
