Personal Details and Dropbox Access

I opened a link I was sent by someone. At the time, I didn't know it was a link connected to their dropbox folder.

Can the person who sent it see the name of my dropbox account because I took a look at the link? I haven't opened any files nor downloaded anything.

It looks like their dropbox is public because I logged out and was still able to see the various files in their folder.

Thanks

It sounds like they sent you a shared link, which doesn't give them any information about the people using the link.
