Remove suggested contacts when sharing Paper files
Well, Dropbox just closed my request from a few years ago, and there are others that have posted similar. This is not resolved yet...
When I share a Paper document, a list of suggested contacts always pops up. These individuals are no longer associated with my business and I would like to remove them. I can't post pictures, but here is a link to what I see. ( link removed as per Community Guidelines] I'd like to remove suggested contacts or disable the suggestions altogether. I don't know how I picked these few people to constantly follow me around. There are no third party applications or contact managers messing with my contacts.
This link from 11-11-2018 did not fix this problem...
A new feature was added last month, allowing you to clear all manually added contacts. It can be found on your Account page.

Hey adamscheible, thanks for reaching out to our Community.
I'm afraid that the steps you mentioned in your post about removing manually added contacts is the only way to remove contacts in Dropbox in general.
If you login through a different browser, or a private browsing window, though, do you see the same behavior?
Keep me posted.

Thanks for your reply.
This has happened for years. Multiple browsers, computers, and OSs. I have two names that always pop up. I'll try following the instructions again and let you know what happens.

Well, that trick seems to work for Business or Teams accounts. I was a Plus member for years, and now am a Professional plan. I don't see any way to clear these two contacts. Something is stuck. It's not fixed and I don't see a remedy anywhere.

Thanks for the update here, Adam, and sorry for the delay.
Do you mind if I send you an email, so we can take an in-depth look into this?

Have you guys found a fix yet?
I'm in the same boat. Every time I type @ to tag someone, all I get is a bunch of ex-coworkers and people I'll never need to share stuff with ever again. Useless.
Why can't it be cleaned up?

Let's hope this elevates it. We can't be the only ones.
