Searching for invalid characters in filenames within the cloud Dropbox - -solved.

I found a solution to the problem of searching for invalid file name characters on Dropbox.   The reason for the problem is that certain characters (like ":") are not allowed in Windows file names.  ...

The Dropbox "bad name check" program, which is a Dropbox web page,  crashed my Windows PC over and over again.  The display resolution changed drastically, and I had to reboot to get things running again.  Over and over.  This shouldn't even be possible.
