Sync only once a day
We use dropbox across our entire company which is generally amazing. However, recently we have run into a problem. We have a remote peice of equipment that is running 24/7 writing data to csv files. ...

Thanks for these ideas. Unfortunately, dropbox is being used on a remote computer. IE, there is nobody around. Furthermore, there is only one folder that needs to sync once a day. It is important for the rest of the folders to sync normally.
This seems like one of those features that would make Dropbox usefull for a lot of applications. Maybe I will add it to the share an idea section.

10 years agoYou could also use a task scheduler to start and stop the Dropbox executable on a schedule.
