Syncing blocked by company; is there a way around this?
Apologies if this has been asked before or I've put it in the wrong location. I have searched through the site and not found this being asked by anyone.
I am using a company laptop and the company has blocked Dropbox from syncing on this system. It still works and syncs fine on my own pc & android etc. Just the company laptop has been blocked. Is there a way around this?
Yes I can use the website but I had links to files so that I could open them on whatever system I was working on, if I cannot get around the syncing, can I get links to work without having to open the webpage?
Any help much appreciated
My guess is you'll be in big trouble at work if you circumvent their security systems. So, I'd suggest speaking to them about it instead.

I have already asked them why, yes you are correct but I fail to see their reasoning, they haven't stopped users transferring files over. we just do it in different ways like a usb stick, or by using the website Dropbox and downloading or emailing. I feel Dropbox was more secure and safer than a usb stick but I'm not the boss. Hey I may even be wrong.
